CREATIVE ARTS/CULTURAL ARTS:
Ages 10-17
Children are taken on a journey to explore
Various cultures through their art, music
And traditions by experimenting with one
Or all of the creative mediums listed below.
They work individually and collaboratively
Older students will be led in directing younger
Students direction for final performance of play.
Musical: Founder of The Music Tree and
Nicholas Entertainment, Karin Williams,
takes children on a journey through The Art of
Music and Song.
Visual: Various seasoned local, nationally known
artists take youth on a journey of art from different
cultures. Children illustrate creative writing of
other classes and experiment with a wide variety
of textures, colors, styles, to explore creative
expression on canvas. Bring apron/smock & paint
brush kit.
Crafts: Students create jewelry and wood carvings
With veteran artisians in woodwork and crafting.
Theatrical: Students create story and
write plays about a culture of their choice and
learn acting techniques, stage presence and
movement skills. Play is performed for audience
at end of week and recorded to be aired on local
television and Webcast!
Poetry/Dance: Children explore these mediums
Through the performing arts for theatrical play.
African/Native American Drumming:
Children are taught basic drumming skills and
Technique and also perform in theatrical play.
Bring journaling book and comfortable clothing.
CULINARY ARTS:
Ages 10-17
The joy of healthy cooking will be explored in
This five day class for girls and boys as they
Learn about healthy tasty alternative snacks
They will prepare under the guidance of a
30 year veteran Chef, Jennifer Franklin.
They can also create recipes of their own,a
recipe book or box.
Bring apron/smock, wooden spoon, water bottle
All other materials will be supplied.
HEALING ARTS:
Ages 10-17
Children will experience a fun, unique approach
The healthy bodies. They will create maps of the
Human meridian system, chakra system and learn
About ancient egyptian and asian energy systems.
They will learn about the importance
Keeping these systems clear and how they can
Do that.
Certified Yoga/
Meditation instructors will lead children in morning
Meditation, breathing, stretching exercises and
postures to sustain energy throughout the day.
Children will work in 15-30 minute group sessions.
Bring yoga mat, and water bottle.
NATURAL ARTS:
Children will learn the Art of Living in sync with nature
Through nature walks, planting organic gardens,
Journaling and Native American traditions that nurture
And honor our planet.
Conducted by Master Organic Gardeners, herbalists
and others versed in Earth and .
Children may choose to plant herb, veggie or fruit.
Bring gardening gloves, and journal and bottle of water.
FITNESS
Martial Arts: Ages 10-17
Children will explore non-combative martial arts which
Keep the body’s meridian system healthy and vibrant
And full of energy. (Tai Chi, Qui Gong, Kung Fu)

Skateboarding: Ages 14-17
Children also have the option to learn skateboarding

TECHNOLOGICAL ARTS
Ages 10-17
Children will learn about the biosphere and
The technosphere and how to balance the two.
The Biosphere is made up of the planet,
People, animals, trees and the natural rhythms and
cycles of nature.
The technosphere is the artificial bubble that
Contains technology, clocks, machinery, etc.
And other conveniences that are manmade.
Harmony of the two is the focus in this workshop
Children experiment with pulling away from
The technosphere so they can hear and interact
And understand the value and connection to
the biosphere. Web games, listening games,
Nature building, house building projects
LIFE PATH/CAREER SELF-DEVELOPMENT
Ages 12-17
Children learn to identify their strengths,
Talents and interests as well as how to
Nuture, research and develop them as needed.
Life path coaching, development and support
For your child’s chosen path is offered
Astrology, vision boarding and other fun
career refining tools are utilized during this
session. Children will learn to identify and
develop their individual Inner guidance system.
They will learn how this system is an expression
Of their own innate wisdom and how it can assist
And support them in staying grounded and on course
Throughout their life journey.
